Earthquakes which have recently hit various parts of the world have caused many people to become more aware of their own mortality. For the Christian, it is another sign which points to the second coming of Jesus Christ. Among the other signs which are now manifested in the world are wars among the nations, famines and pestilences. However, these are only part of the events which will lead the world to its final judgment. The other more subtle and disastrous "earthquake" which is foretold in the Bible will be spiritual in nature. In fact the Bible warns that many will be deceived on account of these events.

"And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many" (Matthew 24:11). Every Christian is able to identify the fact that we are living in the last days by the physical calamities; but are we prepared to identify the great deceivers that are on the evangelical scene even as we speak? Or are we falling victim to these, "angels of light" as described below:

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:13, 14.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:8.

It is high time for those who would be true followers of the Lord Jesus Christ to stand up for the precious gospel.

Satan sends these false prophets to infiltrate the church and cunningly bring in false teachings and practices. These false teachers are able to get a good name among most of the Christians because they claim to have miracles and conversions in their ministry. However, do miracles and conversions necessarily mean that they are true prophets and that they are men of God? The Word of God says that this very thing will be characteristic of many of these false prophets (Matthew 7:21, 22).

The Bible is full of verses which describe these great deceivers who will come into the church secretly with false doctrines. Please read carefully the book of Jude, 1 John 4:1, 2 Peter 2:1-22, Titus 1:11, 2 Timothy 3:1-9, 1 Timothy 4:1, 6:3-5, Matthew 24:4-5, 11, 23-26.

The Lord warns us to stay away from such blasphemers who are entertaining millions on so-called "christian" networks.

By the way, TBN is a 2 1/2 billion dollar industry which is the tool of Satan. Through men and women like Paul (its President)and Jan Crouch (co-founder), the Devil is using it a primary vehicle to propagate every sort of blasphemy there is.

We must never go for signs and wonders alone, but stand on the truth of scripture first and then the signs and wonders will follow.

These men are setting the stage for the Antichrist (2 Thessalonians 2:9, 10) by claiming power from God though they clearly are blaspheming Him in every way imaginable.

"God is not sovereign", "God is a man 6 ft. 2, 180 lbs." - Kenneth Copeland, "Adam could fly to the moon" - Benny Hinn, "Eve had children originally from her side" - Benny Hinn, "Jesus suffered in Hell for three days" - Joyce Meyers, "Jesus had a sin nature", "burping in the spirit", "barking in the spirit", "hiccupping in the spirit", "roaring in the spirit", "miraculous gold fillings in teeth while being filled with the spirit", "rolling in the spirit", "vomiting out your sins", "slaying with spiritual muteness" - Rodney Howard Browne, "slaying with spiritual amnesia" - Rodney Howard Browne, "hissing like a snake" - Kenneth Hagin, "spiritual drunkenness" - Kenneth Hagin, "financial anointing" - Cleflo Dollar Jr., "dueling in tongues", "healing by punching and slapping people","every Christian ought to be a millionaire" etc.

Can you hear the arrogance? The Bible says they are self-willed, presumptuous (2 Peter 2:10).
They are good at making up stories to deceive their hearers (2 Peter 2:3, Jude 16).
They are covetous, greedy for gain (Jude 11).

Their words betray them when they constantly speak of money and equate monetary gain with godliness (Matthew 6:21, 1 Timothy 6:6, 9, 10). The Lord said "Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh" . They reveal what is actually in their heart by the words they speak. As you can hear in the audio clips they openly blaspheme the Holy Spirit of God.

It is an utter disgrace to the Lord to have His people defend or participate in these doctrines/practices. "What fellowship has Christ with Belial?" - 2 Corinthians 6:15

Furthermore, these men repeatedly tell lies and make false prophecies as you have seen if have clicked on the links above. "Jesus will physically appear in churches", "we are going to come back with footage of Jesus on video", "the east coast will suffer great, catastrophic devastation in the 90's (prophesied in the 80's by Benny Hinn), "God will destroy the homesexual community by the mid 90's", "(Fidel)Castro will die in the 90's", etc. How dare people say that "they are only human and therefore they are titled to a slip of the tongue here and there and occasionally they may make an "inaccurate" prophecy?" Yet, they make these "mistakes" while using the very Name of the Lord. One need only read Dueteronomy 18:20-22 to see how the Lord instructs us to identify and reject a false prophet. Revelation 22:18, 19 has a most severe judgment for these liars.

How can you sit and hear and/or watch these evil men? It is a sin to partake in their lies and blasphemies. The judgment is even greater if you are a pastor or church leader or a Bible study/prayer group leader because you are keeping silent as you and your flock are being deceived and destroyed. If you are such a person, repent and be cleansed of your sin and shame by the precious blood of Jesus Christ Who died to set you free from the "father of lies", which is the Devil and keep you from his seducing, blasphemous doctrines.

We must never, ever compromise the truth of God for convenience sake, for gain of money, popularity, a superficial or false peace, fear of people (which the Bible says is a "snare" - Proverbs 29:25) or for any other reason. If we love God and His Word we should be willing to die for the truth if we are going to be worthy of His Name. In Luke 14:33, the Lord says, "He that does not forsake all cannot be my disciple." A true disciple will not try to get people's praise or try to save his own skin by keeping quiet while the Lord's Name is being blasphemed and abused by wicked men. To be a true disciple of Christ is to have reverence for Him by highly esteeming His Word which is the Bible and by obeying His Word. We must maintain a clear conscience, not sear our conscience (1 Timothy 4:2) by compromising a little here and a little there. God will call all our "little" compromisings into question openly on the Day of Judgment.

There are only four reasons why people may still continue to compromise by keeping silent while these false teachers constantly bring in new "revelation" which directly contradict scripture:

A) Pride - reputation, ego

1. "But I have been following these teachers and their teachings so long"
2. "I may lose my people(members, friends)"
   
   

B) The fear of man -

1. "What will my family, friends, congregation or leaders think; they all say that
     these people are really anointed of God?"
2. "I don't want to offend them."
3. "We must have peace and unity at any cost" (even at the expense of truth)
4. "Anyway the Lord says in the parable of the wheat and the tares that in the end
     everything will be taken care of" (this last satanic reasoning can only be
     considered if you reject all of the scriptures in the stated above and below)

C) The love of money -

1.  "They may not call me to preach again"
2.  "I may lose funding from false teachers themselves or from those who are
      their supporters"

D) Erroneous reasoning and missapplication of the Scriptures -

1. "He is only a man; he can make mistakes"
2. "The prophet is still in the body he can also prophesy in the flesh and be
     wrong sometimes"
3. "Don't be negative; concentrate on the good fruit his ministry is bearing"
4. "Don't judge the Lord's anointed" etc.

If you love the Lord, then stand up for the Lord and reject these heretics and blasphemers. It is your duty as a Christian(Jude v. 3).

Titus 1:11 says that false teachers' mouths must be stopped; therefore, it is our responsibility to not only to stop listening to them but also to expose them, warning other believers (James 5:19, 20). Finally, please read and take to heart 2 Peter 3:17. Remember that one with God is a majority because, "If God be for us, then who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31b)

Turn your heart to the Lord. Confess all your sins honestly before God. Repent. If you must read any other book, then make certain that its aim is to lead us into more obedience to the Lord and real holy living. Shut off the TV(get rid of it if you will) and shut off any ungodly programs on the radio, cassette player, cd/dvd player etc. Increase quality time in the Word and prayer to our Holy God. Obey everything the Lord commands immediately. Then and only then will you be prepared for his soon return and not be caught "unawares" (Luke 21:34) or taken by "a strong delusion" (2 Thessalonians 2:11). May the Lord bless you and strengthen you and be well pleased with you as you obey His clear commandments.

Remember that the Bible is clear about these men who cheat people through deceptive doctrines.

"And we henceforth be no children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; ...(Ephesians 4:14)

A little compromise always opens the door to greater compromise down the road unless we repent immediately. There is that very real danger of our conscience becoming dead. When the Holy Spirit gives you a warning; a disturbance in your spirit concerning a teacher/prophet or doctrine, obey Him implicitly by rejecting what He tells you to reject. Do not be concerned over who is endorsing that person or teaching no matter how well known and widely accepted that endorser is. When we value that anointing He has given to all of us who are believers and exercise discernment(1 John 2:27) and check the scriptures like the Bereans (Acts 17:11), when we "prove all things" (1 Thessalonians 5:21) and "test the spirits" (1 John 4:1), then we will not be deceived.

Are you like David; full of zeal and love for God, risking his own life to fight Goliath when he heard him blaspheming God or are you like king Saul and the whole nation of Israel; full of selfishness and cowardice, watching the enemies of God blaspheme our living God?

Who is on the Lord's side? Let them fight against sin and error by living a holy life, blameless and by "earnestly contending for the faith which was once for all delivered unto the saints" (Jude v. 3) in these last days!
