| You are Jesus | - Benny Hinn | ||
|
Our Position in Christ#2, 1990,audiotape,sd2
Benny Hinn
probably is the most popular Word of Faith teacher today. He states here
that his audience should never say that they have Jesus (in heart, mind
etc.) but that they should say that they are Jesus. (pls. note * Mormons
say we can become divine just like Jesus. Hinn takes Mormon teaching a
step further and actually says you have already arrived and that you are
Jesus right now! Hinn is preaching gross error here. Contrary to Hinn's
teaching, Scripture teaches we are to become like Jesus not Divine like
Jesus; only God Who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit is Divine.) |

| Drunk in the spirit | - Kenneth Hagin | ||
|
The "granddaddy" of the Word of Faith movement, Kenneth Hagin reveals clearly the blasphemy and foolishness that passes for "conventions", "crusades" and "meetings" these days as he misquotes and misapplies scripture. He erroneously states that the reason the believers in Acts chapter 2 appeared drunk to onlookers was that they were really drunk, in the spirit. Actually, it may be of help to note v. 13 of chapter 2 says that it was the mockers who said they were drunk with new wine. As he continues to laugh in a demonic way and hiss like a snake, Hagin says, "And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled, be drunk. * It is written, "be filled with the Spirit", not be drunk in the spirit. A clear demonic twist of the Word of God. Can you see it, friend? The Bible
says, "And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled
with the Spirit; speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual
songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; giving thanks
always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord
Jesus Christ; submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God"
- Ephesians 5:18-21 It is quite obvious from
verses 19-21 as to what is to be the scriptural
result of being filled in the Spirit. It is definitely not to act like
a drunk and parade around as a fool. |

| Job was wrong | - Benny Hinn | ||
|
Praise-a-Thon, Trinity Broadcasting Network, Nov. 3, 1990 Benny Hinn (as well as Frederick Price among others) reveals the scripture-twisting tactics of selfish Word of Faith theology and rewrites the Bible by saying that the Lord giveth and never taketh away! He says that what Job said is "not Bible". The Bible quotes Job in the book of Job 1:21, 22 "...the Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly."

| Hinn tells blatant lies | - Benny Hinn | ||
|
He states that he saw a man turn into a snake and a person "raised from the dead on the platform" iin Ghana before half a million people. When interviewed later regarding this incident, he carefully denies it outright saying that he has never seen a man raised from the dead. John 8:44 states that Satan is the father of lies and that his children will do likewise. Revelation 21:8 clearly reveals that the destiny of liars is the lake of fire.

| Brown slays pastors with Muteness | - Rodney Howard Brown | ||
|
Here is the logical extension of the Holy Laughter movement. Men like the popular Rodney Howard Brown, take the greatest liberty in holding circuses using the name of the Lord. As are most of their doctrines and practices, being slain with spiritual mutness is not only unbibical but just plain ridiculous. The Word of God says to take the gospel to the ends of the earth. (Matthew 28:19, 20) What purpose does slaying pastors with muteness serve? What spirit is this that "slays" people promising spiritual benefit? Be assured that it is not the Holy Spirit. These meetings usually end up in all kinds of chaotic behavior. God is a God of order, not confusion or disorder. (1 Corinthians 14:33)

| Jesus was born again | - Kenneth Hagin | ||
| Hagin says that Jesus was the first person to be born again. As you hear this clip, you can know that to believe that Jesus needed to be born again, is as silly to believe that the Creator needed to be created Himself. | |||
